Quan el cart\u00edlag necrosat es fragmenta d\u00f3na lloc a <em>osteocondrosis dissecans<\/em>. La condronecrosis t\u00e9 lloc majorit\u00e0riament a causa d&#8217;una neovascularitzaci\u00f3 defectuosa de l&#8217;\u00e0rea d&#8217;ossificaci\u00f3 o a una bacteri\u00e8mia. Altres factors que poden estar involucrats s\u00f3n els traumatismes, vasculopaties, tox\u00e8mia i defectes cong\u00e8nits de l&#8217;elastina. En aquest article, els autors revisen de forma comparada el coneixement sobre aquesta patologia en cavalls, porcs, gossos i humans, especialment sobre les causes de l&#8217;alteraci\u00f3 vascular que provoca la osteocondrosi.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vet.sagepub.com\/content\/52\/5\/785.full.pdf\">An Update on the Pathogenesis of Osteochondrosis.
