Tot i que el SDPF es va recon\u00e8ixer en principi com una entitat carcaterizada per adenocarcinomes broncog\u00e8nics subcl\u00ednics que es manifestaven com a met\u00e0stasi en el teixit digital, ara se sap que alguns animals desenvolupen tamb\u00e9 tromboembolisme a\u00f2rtic (TEA), met\u00e0stasi vertebrals que provoquen dolor o mielopatia, met\u00e0stasi oculars i met\u00e0stasi musculars amb o sense afectaci\u00f3 digital. En aquest treball restrospectiu, els autors presenten casos que inclouen la presentaci\u00f3 cl\u00e0ssica del SDPF juntament amb altres exemples m\u00e9s cr\u00edptics. El SDPF s\u2019hauria sospitar en aquells gats amb TEA no cardiog\u00e8nic i \/ o lesions digitals, i \u00e9s impresicindible una exhaustiva palpaci\u00f3 de la musculatura, examen de tots els d\u00edgits, un estudi radiol\u00f2gic del t\u00f2rax i un perfil bioqu\u00edmic (CK) que descarti \u00e8mbols neopl\u00e0sics ocults en el teixit muscular.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC5359792\/pdf\/10.1177_2055116917691069.pdf\">Metastatic pulmonary carcinomas in cats (\u2018feline lung\u2013digit syndrome\u2019): further variations on a theme.
