The biopsy samples are cut and prepared for paraffin inclusion during the afternoon. Once included (next morning), microtome sections are made and stained. The stained slides are ready for diagnosis in the afternoon or during the following morning. Following this procedure, biopsy samples can be examined within 24 to 36 hours after arrival. Cytologies are stained and examined during the same day of arrival to our premises.<\/p>\n<p>Cases treated as urgent are diagnosed first in the early afternoon of the day following arrival (biopsies) or in the early afternoon of the arrival day (cytologies).
